What skills and experience we're looking for
The school is seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated and inspirational Early Years Foundation Stage Leader. This post will commence on 1st September 2025.
This post is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to have experience of working in a leadership role. The right candidate will be an exceptional, passionate teacher who can lead by example. They will have the ability to inspire, motivate and support our pupils and staff and have a track record of raising standards and making an impact on teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will have the ability to coach and mentor members of the team in order to drive up standards within the Early Years Foundation Stage, and the wider school. They will also have an understanding of school improvement strategies, together with experience of leading curriculum developments.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate that they are ready to take on a challenging post within this forward-thinking school and are asked to demonstrate their skills and experience that they will bring to the post.
The successful candidate will need:
• Experience of teaching in Early Years,
• Evidence of effective leadership of a subject, or aspect across the whole school,
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the Primary curriculum, including the Early Years Foundation Stage,
• Experience of coaching and/or mentoring staff.
