The Site Accreditation SSO will serve as the on-site expertise for USG/DOD requirements pertaining to assessment, authorization, and continuous accreditation monitoring of US government systems, networks, and facilities. What You Will Do - Fully support all applicable US Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity programs and policies. - Support the Senior SSO in the execution of the overall organizational Information Assurance (IA) program, which includes but is not limited to the Communications Security (COMSEC), Emissions Security (EMSEC), and Computer Security (COMPUSEC) programs for regionally based Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). - Conduct Assessment and Approval (A&A) functions for SCI, PMO, and collateral systems. - Conduct periodic travel and site evaluations in support of A&A efforts. Where applicable address discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Develop a Plan of Action and Milestones for instances that include unresolved findings. - Identify appropriate IA controls with the respective accreditation package(s) to ensure implementation is in accordance with (IAW) DoD and US Air Force IA standards. - Initiate and update A&A packages for the appropriate information systems utilizing the web-based XACTA Information Assurance (IA) Manager. - Maintain the inventory and the appropriate forms of documentation for security hardware and software within XACTA. Minimum Qualifications - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. - Current Information Assurance Management Level II certification is required for this position. - Experience in IA and Compliance Assessment and Reporting. - A mission-oriented, team-focused approach to supporting our customer. - The ability to think, operate, and execute autonomously or as part of a small team. - Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Preferred Requirements - Strong familiarity and recent experience with the XACTA platform (cyber risk management and compliance). - Recent experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or Cyber Security specialist. - Prior work history involving USG or DoD customers and programs. - A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties. - A desire to teach, coach, and mentor supported individuals and teams.
