Measurement Engineer - EGSE Support Engineer

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Measurement Engineer - EGSE Support Engineer to work as part of the Special Test Measurements team in Derby. This role involves providing a mixed portfolio of both new and mature capabilities to the aftermarket. Experimental Engineering is responsible for all aspects of measurement methods and capabilities to support experimental, production, and aftermarket requirements.
Part of the aftermarket business involves the supply, calibration, and maintenance of Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), used during engine maintenance to determine engine operability. This is a customer-facing role servicing over 200 customers worldwide and working with strategic suppliers to deliver new products and repair or maintain existing ones.
The role is broad and would benefit an individual with a technical understanding of the product domain and engineering logistical skills.

Responsibilities
1. Report to the Engineering Lead and serve as an interface for customer and supplier orders and enquiries.
2. Coordinate with technical resources to resolve issues.
3. Assist in managing the supply chain.
4. Monitor product and repair delivery against plans and service levels.
5. Communicate progress to customers and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
* Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Experience in logistics leadership and supply chain management (highly beneficial).
* Electronic design or electronics experience (desirable).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Customer-focused with supplier management experience.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to handle ambiguity and work effectively in a team.
