Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker Location: Wolverhampton Salary: £30,030 - £34,302 basic salary, plus sleeps AND attendance allowance bonus - potential earnings c. £40,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: I am working with a very well established organisation who have a passion about children and young people, creating environments to positively improve those in their care. What You'll Be Doing: Supporting young people with their emotional, social, and physical needs. Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Residential Support Workers. Helping create and follow care plans that put the children first. Encouraging a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where kids can thrive. Supporting the Registered Manager with Ofsted regulations and policies. Handling challenging behaviours in a calm and professional way. Planning and joining in with fun activities and outings. Acting as a key worker, offering guidance and emotional support. Keeping accurate records and ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed. What We're Looking For: Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - if working towards, your application can still be considered. Experience working in a children's residential setting. Leadership skills with the ability to support and inspire a team. Great communication and people skills. A caring, patient, and resilient attitude. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts. A full UK driving license What's in It for You?
