Job Description Quality Assurance / Test Analyst Location: Hounslow (50:50 Hybrid Working) Contract Type: Inside IR35 - 12 Month Contract Rate: £409 Per Day Are you a passionate QA professional with a strong focus on automation and a drive for delivering high-quality software solutions? Our client, a global leader in their sector, is seeking a Quality Analyst to join on an initial 12 month contract. Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control systems, conduct audits, and test products to identify areas for improvement. Document testing results, maintain records for analysis, and collaborate with product teams to establish quality requirements. Operate within the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) as part of a feature team enhancing the Customer Management product. Creating and executing test plans, identifying and tracking defects, conducting manual and automated testing, performing regression tests, and analysing results to provide detailed reports. Collaborate with development teams, participate in design/code reviews, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. About You: Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Test Analyst with strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficient in test automation frameworks (UFT, Appium, Playwright, Saucelab, Browserstack) and API testing tools (Postman, ROBOT framework). Skilled in programming/scripting (Python or similar), test management/reporting (Jira, Octane), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub). Familiarity with Kafka and Grafana is advantageous. Strong engineering mindset focused on prevention over detection, automation-first approaches, and scalable testing. Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) and Agile frameworks. Analytical problem-solver with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering quality software. Experience in performance and security testing, including non-functional testing (e.g., performance, scalability, and security) preferred. Proficient in programming languages such as Java or Python preferred. ISTQB certification or equivalent in Quality Assurance preferred.
