The role
Working with Interactive Production colleagues and external parties to deliver outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform and commercially successful content within operational, financial and legal constraints.
The role will be a mix of remote working and working from the office at ITV White City, West London. The role will require office or studio working one or two days a week, this will vary depending on projects being worked on and the needs of the business.
In addition, the role will also require occasional early morning, evening and weekend work on location if on competition shoots or working on a live show. You may also need to work away for periods of time, including abroad.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
* Experience working within a broadcasting environment of a dynamic, fast paced nature and understand the challenges that working in situations like a live show can bring.
* Working knowledge of web, mobile, telephony, app and social media technologies and their application within a broadcast environment.
* Must be highly proactive and have a proven track record at prioritising a heavy workload and multiple projects.
* Has strong writing skills and is able to adapt for the situation and context accordingly.
* Has experience working within a strong compliance and legal framework.
Other things we're looking for (key criteria)
* Demonstrates energy and resilience and ability to maintain performance in the face of ever-changing priorities and workload.
* Has the ability to organise competition shoots and edits.
* Strong financial awareness of the key cost drivers of a production and able to manage budgets.
* Familiarity with television production processes and language, e.g. shooting, editing, working on live shows.
* Have the ability to come up with creative ideas and be able to articulate those ideas to others.
* Experience producing engaging scripts and content for television.
* Is detail-focused and able to produce high quality, accurate paperwork in a timely fashion.
* Is articulate, and able to communicate with all levels of the business including senior production staff and talent.
* Has a can-do attitude, with enthusiasm and energy in abundance.
* High level of integrity, particularly when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
* The role does not have line management responsibilities but experience hiring and managing freelancers and external contractors would be an advantage.
There may be an opportunity for this to be a Senior Interactive Producer role for an exceptional candidate. You must have prior extensive experience as an Interactive Producer or a very similar role to be considered for this.
