Management Assistant to CFO
Location: Solihull (4 days office-based, 1 day remote)
Contract: 6-Month Maternity Cover
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start Date: No later than 1st February 2025
Are you an experienced, pragmatic and assertive Management Assistant with a proven track record of supporting senior finance executives? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our client's dynamic finance team as a Management Assistant, providing critical support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diary Management: Organising and maintaining the CFO's schedule amidst a fast-paced, transformational environment.
2. Board Pack Creation: Compiling and distributing comprehensive, professional board materials.
3. Presentation Decks: Designing and refining presentations to a high standard using PowerPoint.
4. Expense Management: Overseeing and processing expense claims via advanced expense and travel management systems.
5. Meeting Coordination: Setting up meeting rooms, including IT equipment, catering, and other essentials to ensure seamless workflow.
6. Finance Team Support: Acting as the "go-to" contact for the finance department and providing administrative and organizational assistance.
7. Minute-Taking: Accurately capturing and distributing minutes during high-level meetings.
8. Collaboration: Working across business support functions to enhance efficiency and foster collaboration.
Skills and Experience Required
Essential:
1. Previous experience supporting a CFO or Finance Director in a corporate setting.
2. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and exceptional administrative skill sets.
3. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
4. Experience using expense and travel management systems.
5. Assertive and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
1. Ability to travel between Birmingham and London for meetings as required.
