Your new role
The Head of Marketing for the UK and Ireland is a senior, strategic role with a dual purpose aligned to our strategy of becoming a Focused Innovator. It is essential that we balance performance of our current brands whilst transforming for our future products in the Neuro Rare and Neuro Specialty areas.
The role today is responsible for leading the development and execution of the marketing strategy to drive business growth, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness in the UK and Ireland for our current brands. It will require working closely with the global marketing teams to adapt and implement global strategies at the local level, while also developing country:specific campaigns that address the unique needs of the UK and Irish markets. The Head of Marketing will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate with cross:functional teams to ensure the effective promotion of our products.
In the mid:term the role needs to have an increasing focus on transformation, ensuring we increase our capabilities in the areas Lundbeck will have a presence in the future and getting ready for launch. For this we require a dynamic, flexible and driven individual who can lead us on the next phase of our journey.
In this role you will be reporting directly into the Managing Director, UK and Ireland.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
Strategic Leadership
:Overseethe marketing function, develop and execute the overarching marketing strategy for the Business Area in alignment with global objectives and local market needs.
:Build strong strategic alliances to ensure marketing strategies align with other departments and broader business objectives.
:Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust strategies accordingly.
:Ensure high level decision making and provide insights and updates on marketing performance, activities and budgets.
:Provide strategic input into product launches, ensuring they are effectively positioned and promoted to maximize market penetration and growth.
Team Leadership
:Lead, mentor, and develop a high:performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability to build a highly motivated team.
Brand Strategy and Leadership
:Oversee the development and implementation of digital and brand strategies that enhance the company's market position and align with global brand guidelines.
:Ensure consistency and compliance of brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
