Hours per week:
Repeating fortnightly pattern. More hours during holidays, flexibility in pattern and so on to be discussed.
Week1 -Wed PM - Fri AM 34 hours
Week2 - Tue PM - Fri AM 51 hours
On duty hours are only when my son is home. PA is welcome to stay in the house or go home at other times. Possibility of being paid separately for cleaning/laundry during those hours if interested.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
I have a job that sometimes (rarely) involves nights away. I also need occasional respite breaks for my own sanity.Once the PA is comfortable in the role and my children are settled with a new presence in the house there will be aneed for rare nights flying solo. We can discuss this further, including extra pay for those nights. My other two children are 17 & 14 so don't need direct supervision.

I have three children and all of them are a little neuro-spicy. My eldest is a trans-boy. My youngest child can be anxious, especially around new people. Neither have challenging behaviour but equally things aren’t always straightforward. The ideal PA will be able to fit into this slightly chaotic world and join in with family life.
