As an IT Support Specialist, you will: Provide onsite and office-based desktop support to staff and mobile users. Ensure quality end-user support and a stable IT infrastructure. Offer 1st and 2nd level support via the ServiceDesk ticketing system. Efficiently categorize and resolve incidents using remote desktop tools or physical attendance. Collaborate with the local business IT team for 1st level end-user and infrastructure support. Manage Active Directory and IT requirements for ongoing operations and site projects. Set up and configure new hardware, including PCs, laptops, and printers. Support and maintain server and network infrastructure. Manage Meraki Networks and VLANs for OT and IT environments. Handle phone system and mobile device (Android and iOS) management. Oversee asset management and lifecycle. Liaise with application and system vendors on behalf of local teams. Perform patch management of both local and cloud-hosted systems. Conduct data backup and recovery tasks. Plan and implement disaster recovery strategies. Research problems and create documentation. Work closely with the global infrastructure virtual team. Participate in assigned IT-related projects. Provide training to other departments on system usage. Conduct periodic site visits for onsite support. Offer after-hours support for IT emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance. Ensure compliance with department policies and processes. Perform any other duties as required. What You Need to Succeed ?? To excel in this role, you should have: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Experience in desktop support and IT infrastructure management. Knowledge of Active Directory, server, and network infrastructure. Familiarity with Meraki Networks, VLAN management, and mobile device management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
