We are looking for an Employee Relations Partner to join our People Hub Employee Relations Team to provide expert Employee Relations case management and people change (restructuring, redundancy) support as well line managing a team of up to 4 x ER Advisors. You will provide support across the business on every aspect of ER, Employment Legislation and the application of best practice, whilst helping to ensure the ER Advisor Team always provide the best possible customer service. In addition to this you will support people change programmes through an ER lens, where there is a people impact in relation to business change, TUPE and redundancy for example. The role will be based in Stockton on Tees, working Hybrid between the office and home. Some occasional travel may be required, to attend in-person meetings across the business. What you will be doing: Leading a small team of Employee Relations Advisors, providing coaching and guidance to ensure the best possible levels of service and continuous improvement. Manage own case load, consisting of complex and/or high-risk ER cases, as well as supporting team members to effectively resolve their case load and grow their experience in managing complex and/or high-risk cases. Lead and co-ordinate change programmes with a 'people' impact, whilst developing team member skill and experience. Help update HR policies in line with employment legislative requirements, stakeholder feedback or to reflect business change. Provide the business with detailed knowledge and application of best practice ER processes. Supporting the delivery of high-volume ER cases, across different business sectors, coaching LMs to reach timely resolutions. Liaise with external Legal advisors to help manage Employment Tribunal cases to resolution, applying a commercial approach where appropriate. Complete and analyse ER metrics against KPI's, present data and findings to the ER Manager and ensure relevant corrective action is taken or processes put in place. What you'll bring: Experience managing team members and providing development, coaching and support. Experience of leading fast paced people change management and redundancy programmes. Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Legislation and be able to advise the business. Competent in the use of HR systems such as case management database, call logging systems, advanced Excel and Word, use of all Microsoft applications. Experience of working at pace to support high volume/complex/difficult ER cases in a timely manner to meet standard SLAs. It would be great if you had: Experience of working within a Technology/consultancy multi-site. Experience of working within a HR Shared Service model. Design and delivery of ER training to people manager.
