Job summary 6 month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity Barnsley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our fantastic team. This is an exciting 6 month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity for an experienced Band 7 CNS or a Band 6 nurse looking to develop into the role with full training and support. As a Urology CNS you will provide specialist care, advice, and support to patients diagnosed with urological cancers. You will play a key role in coordinating care, supporting patients and their families, and improving cancer pathways. This secondment is a great opportunity to gain experience in a specialist role, enhance your skills, and contribute to high quality cancer care at Barnsley Hospital. Main duties of the job Provide expert clinical care, education, and emotional support to patients with urological cancers. Act as a keyworker, guiding patients through their treatment journey. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient experience and outcomes. Lead and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
