As a Band 6 RMN within the Mental Health Emergency Centre (MHEAC) you will support and deliver excellent levels of care within the MHEAC in accordance with Trust policies and procedures and National Guidance. As a member of nursing staff, you will contribute in the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice, ensuring that patients within the MHEAC environment experience a safe person cantered episode of care. You will receive development in managing the administrative and operational resources required for MHEC in a cost-effective manner and contribute to evaluating the standard of service delivered. To co-ordinate multidisciplinary working, maintaining excellent communication and working relationships with all team members, and other services within the Trust, to ensure effective interface and continuity of care between disciplines and services. The post holder will act in accordance with nursing procedures to a standard that ensures safe and effective care, and complies with The Nursing and Midwifery Council's Code of Professional Conduct. There is an expectation that the post holder will place the needs of service users at the centre of care delivery in accordance relevant Trust Policies. Communication: 1. To be fully conversant with statutory and non-statutory services in the borough, and promote effective liaison, working relationships and operational links as appropriate.2. To represent the MHEAC at Borough, Divisional, clinical and other meetings as required.3. To ensure safe and effective delivery of care to service users utilising the knowledge and skills of staff. Training: 1. To be available to receive clinical and managerial supervision.2. To participate in academic meetings and teaching sessions.3. To facilitate the learning environment for pre and post registration students.
