Our clients find us friendly and approachable, and we pride ourselves on communication and helping our home-owner clients enjoy as stress-free a move as possible.
As well as residential buy-to-let conveyancing, we also assist our clients with commercial conveyancing, title splits, auctions, and specialist conveyancing matters.
The Role:
We are looking for conveyancing assistants to work alongside our conveyancing paralegals supporting with residential property transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring all legal requirements and service levers are met.
Specific Responsibilities of a Conveyancing Assistant:
* Assisting conveyancers with managing a varied caseload of files from start to finish.
* Preparing and sending out initial documentation to clients.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, solicitors, and mortgage lenders at every stage of the transaction.
* Conducting searches.
* Providing administrative support, including file management and data entry.
* Assisting clients with the completions of our onboarding process.
* Proactively following up and ensuring that files are progressing as required.
* Ensuring all files are compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Delivering a quality service to clients, ensuring regular updates are provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working within a busy, fast-paced conveyancing department (preferred but not essential).
* Experience in New Build and Shared Ownership (preferred but not essential).
* An understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to independently establish priorities and manage deadlines.
* Resilience with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills, and an analytical approach to come to the best legal solutions.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
* Commercial awareness, keeping up to date with business and industry news.
* Attention to detail, extremely accurate in research and the drafting of documents.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Proficiency in using conveyancing software and legal databases (Training will be provided).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for providing excellent customer service and developing professional working relationships with clients and your team.
* Ability to be flexible and empathetic to deliver client needs.
* Must be an honest worker and possess integrity.
