Manufacturing Process Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components within the automotive industry, based in the Nottingham area. They are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join the team.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new manufacturing processes and continuous improvement strategies whilst designing and maintaining tooling, jigs and fixtures.\n\nManufacturing Process Engineer Job Overview\n\nWorking with toolmakers and equipment provider to deliver new manufacturing requirements for NPI projects\nProducing designs on jigs, fixtures and press tooling using Catia\nGenerate process flow chart, PFMEA's and control plans\nDriving continuous improvement projects\nIdentifying areas of risk to product quality\nProducing tooling and equipment maintenance schedules\nLiaising and chasing of suppliers and sending through CAD drawings for production\nAssisting the in-house repair of production equipment\nProducing technical specifications for suppliers \n\nManufacturing Process Engineer Job Requirements\n\nExperienced with 3D & 2D CAD for the design of layout plans, tooling, jigs and fixtures\nProven background within a Process or Manufacturing Engineering role\nUnderstanding of tools such as APQP, FMEA & PPAP\nGood understanding of GD&T principles\nBased in a commutable distance of Nottingham\nFull UK Driving License \n\nManufacturing Process Engineer Salary & Benefits\n\nSalary £30,000 - £42,000 depending on experience\nMonday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week.
