Here at Long-Term Teachers we are looking for Teaching Assistants to work throughout Primary Schools in the South Bristol area. We work closely with a large School Trust who have a number of Primary Schools in the South Bristol area. These schools provide inclusive learning environments, meaning, you will be working throughout schools with children from all backgrounds, and all abilities. The Role These roles will allow you to gain vital experience as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children with core subjects within the classroom, during interventions and activities outside. You can work on a full-time or part-time basis to fit around your needs. Working with a variety of schools in the Bristol area, you will experience working as a general support TA or a 1:1 learning support assistant, throughout EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 classrooms. You will be expected to: Work collaboratively with the class teacher to identify how to provide additional support to individuals. Provide general support throughout the classroom with all pupils. Working with the class teacher to deliver structured and adaptable interventions. Assess children’s development and knowledge and feedback to the class teacher. Work with children on a 1 to 1 basis - supporting Special Educational Needs.
