About the job
We are looking for curious, passionate, and ambitious people that want to thrive in cybersecurity to join our sales team. Reporting into the Managed Services Manager, the Field Sales Executive will proactively engage with senior security professionals at our prospects and customers to sell cybersecurity solutions that deliver on our customer business outcomes.
This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated and experienced team of sales professionals who will train, mentor, support, and coach you to be a success. Successful candidates will be based in our Belfast office (HQ) and will have a mix of on-site and remote work.
Responsibilities
1. Qualify, develop, and close new sales opportunities through outbound approaches, including outbound cold calls and emails.
2. Understand customer needs and requirements.
3. Guide qualified opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle to closure.
4. Meet and exceed quarterly KPIs and deliver a high quantity of qualified sales opportunities.
5. Team with our extensive partner ecosystem to build pipeline and close deals.
6. Perform effective online demos to prospects based on our Smarttech247 Solutions.
7. Engage and drive target contacts to interact with Smarttech247 across all our events and campaigns.
8. Follow up on Account Based Marketing campaigns, designed in partnership with the marketing team.
9. Conduct ongoing research to identify new leads - decision makers, contact information, interest, and level of urgency.
10. Strategize with the Senior leadership team to target prospect accounts to build pipeline.
11. Complete accurate tracking of communication and funnel in our CRM (HubSpot).
Requirements
1. Proven sales experience.
2. Track record of over-achieving quota.
3. Impeccable English skills.
4. Strong phone presence and cold calling skills.
5. Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Strong listening and presentation skills.
8. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
9. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
10. Ability to rapidly understand the organization and the products that we sell.
11. Confident working closely with Customers, Field Sales, Marketing, and related technical teams, business stakeholders up to C-level, and 3rd party teams.
12. Be directional, collaborative, and embrace the concept of everyone working as ‘one team’.
13. Excited by technology, curious and eager to learn more about IT Security products and services.
14. Highly organized with strong attention to detail in all areas of work.
15. Previous Cybersecurity sales experience desirable.
