Holtec International Project Manager Position
Holtec International, a supplier of products and services to the worldwide nuclear power industry, is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our International Site Services (ISS) Team to lead site-based work.
The position is offered by Holtec Britain as a member of the Holtec International family.
This role focuses on the manufacture of products at international facilities, requiring monitoring and controlling to ensure schedule adherence and quality of product.
The Project Manager will be based at the Sizewell B power station in Leiston, Suffolk.
The position requires regular travel within the UK and abroad, up to 30% of the year, on short-term projects (generally less than 6 months).
The Project Manager will work with the Corporate PM to manage the overall relationship with the customer.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, capable of operating independently.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, being highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of interacting with business executives.
Minimum Responsibilities:
1. Leadership, management, and oversight of projects to deliver successful outcomes while maintaining high standards of professionalism required in the nuclear industry.
2. Effective and professional communication with all project stakeholders.
3. Providing operational and strategic direction for the project team.
4. Driving quality delivery through effective planning and right-first-time execution.
5. Maintaining good working relationships with clients, project management teams, supervisory staff, and supply chain partners.
6. Preparing, managing, monitoring, reviewing, and updating realistic work programmes according to project and contract requirements.
7. Using effective communication methods, such as recorded weekly progress meetings, to keep the project team informed.
8. Keeping management informed of potential risks, opportunities, and future work prospects.
9. Managing and developing safety documentation, including Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
* Successful experience in Project Management of products or equipment manufactured by third parties.
* Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with a focus on client stakeholder management.
* Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
* Project Management Qualifications such as APM (PPQ or PMQ) or PMP.
* At least 5 years of experience in the nuclear, construction, petrochemical, or power generation sectors. Previous experience in Nuclear is preferred but not essential.
