What does a Sr. HRIS Analyst Do: The Sr. HR Applications Analys t provides support for the maintenance and configuration of the various human resources management systems. The HR Applications Analyst serves as a point of contact for assigned applications and customer groups and assists subject matter experts with system configuration, testing, process improvement, report writing, and data integrity. This position also provides application support to the human resources team and acts as a liaison to the Information Technology department. What You'll Do: Subject Matter Expertise: Provides consultative and functional assistance to end users for all Core HR and HR-related modules by providing consultative and functional assistance to end users. Technical-functional support: Provides technical-functional support of HR applications, including advanced problem resolution, troubleshooting, and recommending solutions. Prioritizes and resolves HR system and process issues. Configuration & Design: Maintains HRIS systems including configuration and design, maintenance, testing and other related functions. Testing & Upgrade Coordination: Performs HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects, in partnership with IT. Coordinates with HR teams and end users to perform testing as needed. HRIS Implementation & Special Projects: Participates on any new HRIS-related implementation work, including leading aspects of the project. Lead special projects as requested. System Process Improvements: Proactively performs regular assessments on systems functionality and offers recommendations that will provide continuous improvement & process harmonization on processes within and outside of the HRIS systems. Document, test and implements these process improvements within HR systems. Act as a trusted advisor: Serves as the liaison with the Information Technology department on solutions requiring technical resources as well as support project management teams to document current processes and define requirements for new initiatives. Process Flows & Documentation: Designs and maintains system processes and user documentation for HR systems. HR Reporting, Analytics & Metrics: Creates HR analytics and reporting with metrics that support HR and workforce business objectives. Develops HR-related metrics and analytics (e.g. benchmarking analysis, HRIS report generation, evaluations, audits, data interpretations, statistical analysis, etc.) for Executive and Manager Dashboard reporting. Creates, maintains, and supports reporting requests for HR data using appropriate reporting tools. Collaborates with other teams to publish reports to various levels of the organization and develop system notifications to improve workflow. Ensures that reporting support is within a consultative manner. Systems Audit and Compliance: Proactively performs regular audits HR data to evaluate for data quality issues and formulates strategies to increase data integrity. Team Mentoring: Mentors other HRIS Analysts on systems, processes, process improvements and project related work. Best Practice Awareness & Advisor: Maintains awareness of current trends related to assigned application processes and incorporate knowledge into system recommendations. What You'll Need: Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with SME teams, vendors and business leaders across multiple business areas. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Good analytical skills to leverage HR insights and measure the effectiveness of people programs. Ability to take understanding of business and HR practices and create/present detailed reports and data in an understandable fashion. Technical Expertise: Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of global leading Human Resource Information Systems; Strong HRIS Systems Configuration experience; Strong BI Reporting experience; Intermediate to Advanced level knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.) Strong expertise in desktop applications essential to the position including Visio for process flow diagrams, Excel, and/or Access for large-scale data analysis. Systems Development & Project Lifecycle: Full Project lifecycle management experience; HRIS Implementation and release experience. Process Improvements: Strong knowledge and documented success of process improvement initiatives. HR Practice & Knowledge: Practice and/or knowledgeable of principles, practices and standards of Human Resources. Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders. Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to understand oral and written descriptions of complex business processes and technical content.
