General Primary Teaching Assistant – Job Description:
1. Located in Leeds
2. Great transport links
3. Paid teaching placement up to £500 per week, term time only
4. Support with specific areas of learning e.g., Literacy and Mathematics
5. Encourage reading and monitor progress
6. Support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
7. Assist with the delivery of phonics lessons
8. Praise imaginative and creative students
9. Work with the EYFS department
10. You may also be required to support on a 1:1 basis in other year groups but the role will predominately be based in Reception
11. Help create fun and inspiring lessons

Person Specification:
20. Minimum 2:1 degree (other qualifications considered)
21. Good A Levels
22. Experience working with children/young pupils
23. Creative and engaging personality
24. Excellent organisation and communication skills
25. Aspirations to work in education
26. Knowledge of SEN
