The Best Connection Bolton are delighted to recruit a Maintence Operative/ Factory Labourer for our client in the WN2 area of Wigan.
The Hours:
Hours 7-3.30pm/8-4.30pm, Monday- Friday with potential overtime available.
The Role:
The Cabin Fitter Role:
Encompasses making good modular cabin units, from hire to be fit again for rehire.
Ideally we are looking for people with joinery and/or plumbing experience in previous roles.
Identify materials requirements by speaking with operatives and deliver materials to workbays.
To ensure productivity is maximised by reading production plans that outlines orders in which units will be worked upon and ensuring the associated workbay has all the required materials.
Closely monitor the completion of units, and execute a quick change-over of units into workbays and paint shop. · Work to increase overall production facility efficiency allowing operatives to remain in their workbays.
To work on various elements of the build products, may need to use hand tools such as drills, electric screwdrivers, rivet guns, painting elements.
Empty skips from workbays.
Maintain a well-stocked / orderly keeping of materials within the workshop e.g. vinyl, ply-wood, moduflex panels, down-pipes, trims etc.
Liaise the Storeman with any other adhoc tasks.
To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health and Safety Policy and any additional site restrictions.
This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate with interviews this week.
