Audit Assistant Manager

What You'll Do:
1. Manage your portfolio of clients, focusing on audit (70%) and accounts preparation work (30%), with a total fee income of approximately £300K.
2. Review completed audit files and present them for final review.
3. Supervise and develop junior staff members.
4. Take responsibility for portfolio WIP, billing, and debtor control.
5. Assist senior managers in planning, controlling, and reviewing larger, more complex assignments.
6. Develop your commercial awareness through fee development and cross-selling activities.
What You Need:
While you might not have all the experience listed below, if you meet the minimum criteria and are passionate about developing yourself, we'd love to hear from you:
1. A professional accounting qualification – ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA (minimum criteria)
2. Ability to project manage multiple audit engagements and delegate work effectively (minimum criteria)
3. Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and IFRS
4. Client-facing experience
5. Commercially focused with the ability to spot new business opportunities
6. Experience with audit software (they use Caseware) and Microsoft packages
