We are delighted to be working exclusively with our privately-owned client who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to their growing team as the business grows and increases it's industry presence. They are a company that prides themselves on having a fantastic company culture and are looking for someone who is commercially minded who can build strong relationships within the business.
Key Duties for this role include -
1. Monitoring the day to day financial operations for the group with overall responsibility for Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers
2. Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and accounting entries
3. Preparation of monthly management reports and provision of commentary
4. Liaise with internal stakeholders and division heads to review projects and provide financial analysis
5. Provide support to department heads to ensure budgets remain on track
6. Ensure financial accounting, controls and reporting are developed and documented
7. Prepare and present statutory accounts
8. Lead the payroll, VAT and HMRC processes
9. Development and mentorship of junior finance team members
10. Liaise with external parties in completion of tax, audit and banking
The ideal candidate will -
11. Be fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA or candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered
12. Possess excellent communication skills
13. Be commercially minded and thrive in an organisation that is growing and changing
14. Be able to build strong business relationships
15. Strong analytical skills and always be looking to add value
16. Experience working for a private equity business is desirable but not essential
