Intermediate Electrical Engineer - London - To £50K
Looking to join a medium sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, who pride themselves on quality, not quantity?
Reporting to a friendly, down to earth, supportive, and hands-on Electrical Director, you'll receive as much mentoring, guidance, and support as you need. You'll develop the ongoing strategy for the delivery of your projects as their MEP team meets every Monday to discuss future workload and track resources to ensure that every team member is getting enough support. Nothing is ever issued without being checked, ensuring quality is at the forefront of all designs.
As a company, they recognise everyone as an individual, not just a number on the payroll, and offer an environment of support and continuous development.
As an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you'll help design high-quality, low carbon residential, education, leisure, and commercial buildings. You'll use your excellent communication skills to inform and educate clients, explaining technical terms to a non-technical audience in a straightforward manner. Your previous site experience will ensure that your electrical designs are easy to install, access, and inspect, and are properly coordinated with mechanical systems.
You'll become part of a consultancy that encourages professional growth while maintaining a positive work-life balance.
You'll work on complex and challenging projects from feasibility to post-occupancy and share what you've learnt with the team, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
As you develop, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your commercial awareness in areas such as fee bids, tender reviews, contract management, and resource planning.
