Role Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator to join our growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, server management, and end-user support. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities: System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain servers (physical and virtual) and network infrastructure devices. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls. Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. Implement and maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans. Ensure system security through regular updates, patches, and security audits. Network Management: Maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points (Fortinet is a plus). Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Implement and maintain network security measures. End-User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues. Install and configure workstations and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve end-user problems in a timely manner. IT Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems and procedures. Create and maintain knowledge base articles for common issues. Research and recommend new technologies and solutions. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience. 3 years of proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role. Strong understanding of Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and Google Workspace environments. Experience with Linux/Unix administration. Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware Citrix, Hyper-V). Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
