Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to join our team. As a Deputy, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our nursery setting. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, experience working with children, and a passion for early childhood education.
Duties:
1. Manage and supervise a team of nursery staff members
2. Create and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery
4. Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
5. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
6. Provide guidance and support to nursery staff members
7. Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for children to learn and grow
8. Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in childcare or a related field
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
3. A genuine love for working with children and helping them develop
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
5. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
6. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required
