It has 2 sites across 40 acres of beautiful countryside. You will be supporting young people and adults, between the age of 16 - 25, that have autism with additional learning needs and associated complex behaviours. The college offers incredible opportunities for students preparing for adulthood, a mixture of artistic activities and sensory lessons and animal therapy all designed to apply to their needs. You will be offering support to activities both indoors and outdoors; including animal care to therapy animals. A creative, therapeutic approach is brought to the college, the pastoral lead is looking for a kind, patient candidate that can bring maturity to the role. You will work in an exquisite environment, supporting young people with community activities like horse riding, swimming, cinema, pantomimes, beach visits which enrich the young people’s wellbeing and community access. You will also support the young people with placement assistance and enrichment to ensure they have a wealth of opportunities for the future. Personal care will also be required.
