Job Overview
As a trainee Robot & Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the design and implementation of robotic systems we supply to our existing and growing customer base within our automated manufacturing processes. Under the mentorship of experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on experience with advanced robotics and automation technologies, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Robot Programming: Assist in programming industrial robots (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC) for tasks such as welding, painting, assembly, and material handling.
* System Integration: Support the integration of robotic systems with other manufacturing technologies.
* Offline Simulation and Commissioning: Assist with offline simulation of robotic systems and their commissioning.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure robotic systems meet production quality standards by conducting tests and making necessary adjustments.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of robotic system configurations and safety documentation
* Training: Participate in structured training programs to develop your technical and problem-solving skills in robotics and automation.
* Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement innovative solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
* A degree, diploma, or apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding and keen interest of robotic systems and programming principles.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Enthusiasm for robotics, automation, and the automated manufacturing industry.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
* Experience with programming languages
* Familiarity with industrial robots and automation equipment.
