Affinity Water has a fantastic opportunity to join our brand new Enforcement Team as an Illegal Connections Administrator on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
The role:
Affinity Water is implementing a new Enforcement Team to investigate illegal connections and illegal hydrant use on our network, to help stop offenders who do not pay for their connections, or the water consumed.
This new Team will be pivotal in helping to support all teams across the business and to help save millions of litres of water being taken illegally each year and bring in the much-needed revenue to support our aging network.
What you'll be doing:
You will be responsible for administrative tasks including maintaining our database on illegal connections and liaising with the Developer Experience team with regards to new connections quotations.
A large proportion of the role will be conducting initial desk-based research by interrogating Affinity Water systems and open-source avenues to determine if illegal activity has occurred on our network.
What you'll need:
* Good knowledge and experience using all Microsoft Office packages. (Essential)
* Excellent attention to detail. (Essential)
* Previous experience of reporting, research and record management (Essential)
* Water Industry knowledge (Desirable but not essential)

The interview process will be a face to face interview consisting of behavioural and technical competency based questions.
