Description
* Provide leadership to the global HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
* Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the company's business objectives.
* Promote the company values and ensure the team's alignment with these.
* Manage HR-related projects, such as talent acquisition, retention strategies, and succession planning.
* Provide guidance on all aspects of HR, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
* Ensure compliance with regulations in all regions where the company operates.
* Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in HR management, applying these to improve the department's effectiveness.
* Oversee the use of Bamboo HR and other HR management systems, ensuring they are used effectively to support HR activities.
Profile
The successful Head of Global HR will have:
* A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
* Recent Financial Services regulatory knowlege (FCA / PRA) within a Financial Services firm(s).
* Substantial and recent M&A experience on a global scale
* Demonstrable experience of compensation and benefits alignment within a Financial Services setting on a global scale.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Demonstrable experience of recently managing a HR team on a global scale
* Excellent knowledge of HR practices and employment law, both nationally and globally.
* Proficiency in Bamboo HR or a similar HR management system.
* The ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
