The Role The people we support have unique interests and passions that make every day exciting and different. Whether it's attending clubs, enjoying a quiet moment at the library, catching up with friends over lunch, or even taking trips away, you'll have the chance to help them stay connected and live life to the fullest. Your support will make a meaningful impact by reducing social isolation, promoting independence, and building confidence. The individuals we support have a range of needs, including mental health challenges, alcohol and drug addiction and behaviours of concern. As a Support Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in assisting with daily living tasks like meal preparation, medication, attending appointments, and managing finances. You'll also support with moving and handling, personal care, and building emotional well-being. Beyond the practical tasks, you'll help support meaningful relationships with family, friends, and the wider community. Having a full UK manual driving license is advantageous but not essential. To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we'll need you to: Have an empathetic and caring nature. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence in using computers. Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own. Good organisational skills. Shift Patterns Our dedicated team provide support 7 days a week and shift patterns include days, evenings, wakened night shifts and sleepovers, weekends and bank/public holidays.
