Are you a night owl looking for an exciting opportunity? A highly esteemed, independently owned small animal hospital in a stunning cathedral city in North Yorkshire is seeking a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated Out of Hours team. This well-established practice has been at the forefront of local animal care for over 80 years, offering top-tier veterinary services across their RCVS-accredited hospital and four additional surgeries in the surrounding areas.
You'll be joining a fantastic team of 16 FTE vets, including Advanced Practitioners in medicine, surgery, and general practice, all of whom bring a wealth of experience. The practice is fully equipped with cutting-edge technology, including digital x-ray, video endoscopy, a laparoscopic kit with diathermy, and fully integrated internal lab facilities. They also provide access to visiting specialists, such as an ophthalmologist and a CT scanner, and have dedicated dog, cat, and isolation facilities. The large team of experienced RVNs and dedicated support staff share a passion for delivering the highest standards of veterinary care.
The hospital is RCVS accredited, and the team strives to combine exceptional, personalised care with the latest best practices in veterinary medicine. The Rota:
• 7 nights on and 14 nights off
