Role Overview
Working as a key member of the Roads and Transportation Service, you will assist in the delivery of one of the key functions of the service.
Responsibilities
1. Work directly with the Senior Engineer - Structures.
2. Assist in bridge asset management and general inspections.
3. Handle enquiries and assist with abnormal load queries.
4. Deal with insurance claims related to structural assets.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants are required to have:
1. An HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or other appropriate professional discipline.
2. Working knowledge of office software and specialist software such as AutoCAD and GIS.
3. A full driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
Registration with the Engineering Council at Engineering Technician level or above, experience in roads and transportation, experience in local government, and a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation are all desirable.
