Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic talent agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for diversity and representation in the commercial industry. This role involves managing client relationships, securing bookings, and nurturing the careers of Gingersnap talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
* Identify and recruit commercial actors and talent.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing talent, providing guidance and career development support.
* Ensure all talent profiles are up-to-date with portfolios, spotlight profiles and showreels.
Client Liaison:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including photographers, designers, casting directors, and producers.
* Understand client needs and match them with appropriate talent.
* Negotiate contracts and manage bookings, ensuring favourable terms for both talent and clients.
Booking Coordination:
* Coordinate all aspects of bookings, including schedules, travel arrangements, and accommodation.
* Handle last-minute changes or cancellations with efficiency and professionalism.
* Ensure all bookings are conducted in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements.
* Industry Networking:
* Attend industry events and casting calls to scout new talent and build industry connections.
* Stay informed about current trends in fashion, entertainment, and representation to ensure the agency remains competitive and inclusive.
Administrative Duties:
* Maintain accurate records of bookings and contracts
* Prepare reports on booking activities, client feedback, and talent performance.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an acting, talent or casting agent or similar role in a talent agency or related field.
* Strong knowledge of the modelling, acting and commercial creative industry with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in using talent booking software and CRM systems.
* A keen eye for detail and a passion for discovering new talent.
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with legal aspects of talent contracts.
* Experience working with diverse groups of people, including those from underrepresented communities.
* Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
* Secure relationships with Casting directors and producers.
