We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in CNC programming and CAD/CAM to join our team at our production site in Basingstoke, UK.

The Role:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide specialist engineering support involving machining processes and process control for new and existing components.
* Create stable and robust engineering processes in a medium volume environment.
* Run and prove out first-off components through validation processes.
* Design workholding and fixtures required for production processes, modelling and detailing drawings using CAD software.
* Release manufacturing routings in the ERP system.
* Support the production department with machine stoppages and tooling issues.
* Program, set, and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines.
* Liaise with Quality Control to review component tolerance data and identify areas for improvement.
* Create Inspection reports.
* Develop manufacturing stage drawings for internal processes using CAD software.

Requirements:
To be successful, you will need:
* HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
* In-depth knowledge of CNC programming techniques, CAD/CAM, jig, and tool design
* SolidCAM and SolidWorks experience is desirable
* Experience setting up equipment and CNC processes
* Demonstrated ability to resolve problems, educate, and work to exacting standards
* Competent use of measurement tools
