Job Type: Fixed Term Build a brilliant future with Hiscox Marketplace Implementation Analyst (junior supporting role) Reporting to the Head of Supplier Risk & Operations York based - min of 2 days per week in the office Fixed Term Contract until end of September 2025 This role would suit a recent graduate who has an interest in Procurement / Supplier Management or someone with a year to 2 of experience in a similar role. This is predominantly an administration and support role that has elements of systems, process and customer support. Must be able to start in 2-3 weeks. The role: We have embarked on a journey to transform our approach to procurement right across our business and have invested in a procurement system based on the award winning iValua solution (Marketplace). The role is primarily to support the Procurement function and the wider business in the management and efficient operation of our Marketplace solution. A key component is providing better support to colleagues in the rest of the business to navigate our systems and find the goods/services they are looking for and helping them to ‘self-serve’ where it is appropriate for them to do so. You'll be: Provide advice to colleagues across Hiscox on how to buy services in a way which complies with our philosophy. Supporting the project team with key tasks, providing analysis where required and being an integral member of the project. As directed by System Admins and Digital Transformation Managers manage the training library, update training material and bitesize videos to reflect current ways of working Maintain access rights, distribution lists etc to Ivalua ensuring compliance to agreed Hiscox access management protocol. Maintain the Marketplace Practice Management library structure, ensuring that all procurement process artefacts are stored accurately, version controlled and issued appropriately. Issue campaigns to suppliers via Marketplace to pro-actively update their details, inform them of upcoming updates and gather feedback. Coordinate the production of packs for any Procurement governance meetings (PLT, UKLT etc), liaising with colleagues to ensure the timely submission of documents and ensuring you produce the packs within agreement deadlines and with great attention to detail. Use analytic tools within the Marketplace system to produce reports which highlight opportunity in category areas while providing insight to the PLT on trends and areas of concern. Help create monthly supplier risk management reports. Skills & Capabilities: A recent graduate (2:1 or above) with an interest in Procurement / Supplier Management / someone with 1-2 years of experience in a role that includes some administration of systems, processes and customer support. You must have good communication skills and be able to extract detail from service requests being made of you. Dynamic and self-motivated style, with energy and ability to deliver at pace Good people skills, able to role model behaviours aligned to our values as a company. An ability to develop good knowledge of the category management process and the Ivalua system to ensure you are able to add value to the queries you receive. The ability to extract, interpret and analyze data across a range of finance and procurement tasks. Shows attention to detail in their work and takes ownership of tasks by identifying the best solutions, adhering to deadlines while mitigating relationship issues and commercial risk. An ability to develop good negotiation/influencing skill set and coaching capability, helping colleagues to understand Ivalua and associated tools.
