Overview
As an Outreach Support Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role within the local community promoting our services and engaging with our service users, individuals, rough sleepers, and partner agencies.
Your role will be to support the team in engaging and assisting individuals who are experiencing homelessness and have multiple needs, including substance misuse. You will respond to referrals, target known locations within the community, and actively engage, building positive relationships with people who are rough sleeping or experiencing problems with substance misuse.
Responsibilities
No two days are the same, and you can really make a difference in helping to keep people safe. You will be provided with all the skills, training, and support to undertake the role. Supporting rough sleepers is very rewarding, and you can make a real difference in somebody’s life. This is the perfect role for a sociable and outgoing person who wants to help their community.
