GBR Recruitment are working in exclusive partnership with a well-established and progressive Security & Fire Systems installation and service business, recruiting for an experienced Security & Fire Engineer to fit Security Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Barriers/Gates to work across an array of Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, Housing, and other types of properties across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and parts of Cambridgeshire, with a large percentage bias on installing and maintaining Security & CCTV, with some Fire, Access, and Barriers.

You will provide extensive engineering support to a diverse range of installation projects along with maintenance support to a wide scope of organizations and businesses.
The client pays all Engineers door to door, so the moment you leave your home, you are being paid. They also pay a premium for call out (call out rota is 1 week in 4 weeks). Overtime is paid at x1.5 rate after 40 hours, and there is no weekend working. It is a Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm role, providing a real work/life balance.
Security & Fire Engineer Duties:
1. Service & Install Security Alarms (intruder), CCTV, Fire Alarms, Access Control Systems & Security Barriers/Gates.
2. Work on Axis, Galaxy, HKC, Paxton, BFT, Came & Faac makes of products; some experience with these would be beneficial.
3. Provide technical support to customers & fault find any problems.
4. Deliver exceptionally strong customer service in line with the end-users' expectations.
5. Influence & support customers in making security/fire protection product choices for their sites, ensuring the products they choose will meet their needs.
6. Work to set targets & install timescales.
7. Adopt a 1st time right approach on all Security & Fire systems works carried out.
8. Work independently & in small teams (varies due to scope of works).
9. Maintain a high level of quality finish & leave work areas clean & tidy.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experienced in a Security & Fire Service Engineering role.
2. Used to installing/servicing Security Systems (Alarms, CCTV).
3. Engineering, Electrical, Electronic or Security-related Qualifications would be ideal, but not essential as time served is acceptable.
4. Used to advising businesses on Security & fire protection systems.
5. Experience in security CCTV camera products installation/servicing, access control, security barriers/gates, and Alarm systems installation & servicing/maintenance.
6. Full UK Driving license (van & fuel card provided).
7. Able to complete & pass a DBS check.
