Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supplies catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef for their site in Warminster. This company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress.
Working hours are 5/7 days from 0530-1400 or 1000-1830. All overtime is paid.
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef will include:
* Ensuring food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards.
* Supporting the manager in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within a budget.
* Being responsible for maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge.
* Maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control.
* Complying with health and safety and food safety legislations.
What You Need to Be a Successful Chef:
* Previous experience as a Chef.
* NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications or relevant industry experience.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
