Job Overview:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced Retail and Wholesale Managers and Directors to join our team at JOVS LTD. The ideal candidates will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the operations of our retail and wholesale business to achieve optimal business performance and financial goals. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills who can effectively manage resources, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews to foster a productive work environment.
- Liaise with team members to ensure customers receive accurate and timely information about products, promotions, and services.
- Handle customer complaints and queries professionally to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Ensure adequate reserves of merchandise are available and stock management is carried out efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels to minimize wastage and overstocking while meeting customer demands.
- Oversee the maintenance of financial records, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
- Manage security arrangements for premises and merchandise to minimize risks.
- Authorize payment for supplies and decide on vending prices, discount rates, and credit terms.
- Evaluate the quality of merchandise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensure that merchandising and display facilities are appealing and impactful to attract customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: A degree or diploma in a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven track record in a managerial or directorial role within the retail or wholesale industry.
