The role:
1. Proactively sell media and promote the benefits of advertising to help our clients develop their businesses.
2. Lead Sourcing: You will be responsible for sourcing your own new clients/leads.
3. You will be required to maintain an up-to-date CRM system, documenting your client interactions and activities.
4. You will make use of marketing material to compile your own sales proposals & media strategies to present to prospective clients.
5. Attend monthly sales meetings to forecast your monthly expected revenue to the Sales Director accurately.
6. You will possess a good level of commercial acumen and a proven ability to negotiate and win new business.
7. Ensure clients always receive the best customer service and advice.
The person:
1. Previous Media Sales experience is essential in one or more of the following - outdoor media, radio, national or regional press online, direct mail, TV.
2. You will be comfortable creating professional sales presentations and proficient with all aspects of MS Outlook including managing a business calendar.
3. You will have a confident, well-spoken telephone manner and present yourself immaculately when meeting clients face-to-face.
4. Self-motivated you’ll enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic business and converting prospects into clients.
