Job Description
The role requires a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years of UK Social Worker experience within an Adult Social Work team.
The responsibilities will include:
1. Working as part of an integrated health and social care service providing a wide range of support to people with learning disabilities and their carers.
2. Commitment to working with people with learning disabilities to increase their independence and inclusion and to maximize their control over their lives.
3. Encouraging staff to develop their professional skills to positively impact the lives of those served.
4. Extensive experience of working with vulnerable service users and their carers.
5. Commitment to the principles of personalisation and a track record in supporting people to maximize their control.
6. Creativity in developing support plans that enhance service user development and demonstrate best value and community inclusion.
7. Conducting reviews of existing learning disabilities service users' current packages of care.
Work Details:
* 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
* 2 Month Temporary Contract.
* Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.

The successful candidate will need to hold a DipSW or equivalent, must be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
