Band 8a £60,126- £64,906 pro rata
Plus £1,349 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata
Fixed Term - Secondment for 6 Months
37 Hours per Week
A development opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic nurse to provide senior nursing leadership across the acute care system in NHS Western Isles for an initial period of 6 months.
The successful candidate will provide support, advice, clinical and professional leadership for all aspects of nursing, care delivery and human resources management, ensuring local and national objectives are achieved.
You will work in collaboration with a range of clinical and non-clinical staff both internal and external to ensure the delivery of quality, safe and person-centered care.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to work using own initiative and prioritize demand in a challenging environment.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
Support may be available on terms of accommodation and agreed travel for off-island applicants.
