Description Salary: £32,490- £36,870 per annum Grade: D Permanent Contract 37 Hours per Week We are seeking an exceptional and committed individual to join us as in the role of an Adults Placement Officer. This role is a unique and exciting opportunity to support and commission all new placements for residential care, home care, supported living, day care, hospital discharges, and services such as direct payments, assistive technology, and occupational therapy equipment. There is also responsibility to manage waiting lists for home care packages and any other related tasks required. You will work alongside colleagues in Health and within Thurrock Council, along with internal and external providers of adult social care services. The role also provides guidance and support to care practitioners and other colleagues. You will become part of pro-active, fast-paced team, where we provide the opportunity for you to grow and develop. If you have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, have a high standard of written & verbal communication skills, is IT literate and works well under pressure, we would like to hear from you. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check at Enhanced Level will be required for this post.
