Fixed term dependant on pupil numbers likely to extend into 2026/2027
We are a popular and thriving Church of England school set in the idyllic East Devon countryside and we are seeking to appoint a class teacher to join our happy and hard-working team. You will be teaching in a job share on Thursdays and Fridays, teaching in KS2.
We are looking for candidates who:
1. Can inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be.
2. Believe in a relational approach to improving behaviour- seeing behaviour as a form of communication.
3. Are skilled in delivering practical and cross-curricular approaches to learning, encouraging children to be reflective learners and responsible citizens.
4. Have a secure knowledge and understanding of how children learn and become highly independent and resourceful.
5. Have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a supportive job share and wider team.
6. Be willing & flexible to work across the two schools in the federation as required (Feniton Primary and Tipton St John Primary School).
