National Grid is hiring a Associate Customer Relationship Manager for our Customer Connections department based in Warwick.
About the role
This role is crucial in connecting customers to the high voltage transmission system in England and Wales and turning the UK’s net zero ambitions into reality.
The Associate Customer Relationship Manager is the first point of contact for our customers and supports them through our connections process. They’re the voice of the customer internally and ensure we know the customer’s needs and requirements, whilst actively managing the customers progression against critical connection milestones.
About you
1. Proactively engage with customers to build and strengthen relationships.
2. Log customer complaints and resolve these quickly and efficiently.
3. Capture customer intelligence in our CRM system and feed insight into our business plan.
4. Act as a data champion for our CRM system to ensure our data is accurate and aligns with our customer’s pipeline.
5. Have basic knowledge of a TOCO and be able to articulate in ways to suit customer understanding.
6. Understand our customer’s needs and keep them updated via progress meetings and communications.
7. Share knowledge, coach and help in developing the Assistant Relationship Managers.
What you'll need
8. Experience of managing multiple customers or stakeholders.
9. Proven track record of being able to influence at a peer level.
10. Commercial acumen and negotiations skills.
11. Thrives in a busy working environment with numerous activities running in parallel.
12. Experience in relationship and/or account management preferred.
13. Experience in using a CRM System (Salesforce or similar) preferred.
What you'll get
14. A competitive salary of £41,000 - £48,000 based on experience
15. 26 days annual leave plus eight statutory days
