Role Overview:
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety strategies within the organization. Your primary goal will be to ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Policy Development: Formulate and enforce comprehensive health and safety policies in line with legal requirements.
2. Safety Audits: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
3. Incident Management: Lead investigations into workplace incidents, analyze root causes, and develop preventive strategies.
4. Training & Development: Organize and deliver training sessions on safety protocols to ensure staff competency.
5. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and compliance documentation.
6. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management to foster a culture of ongoing enhancement in health and safety practices.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Proven background in health and safety management, preferably within the M&E sector.
2. Knowledge: Extensive understanding of health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
3. Certification: NEBOSH certification or equivalent is mandatory.
4. Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.
