Role Purpose
The Pub Development Coach is dedicated to enhancing the guest experience by empowering pub teams through effective training and development. This role focuses on creating and delivering tailored training programs that elevate service standards, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
By working closely with Operations Managers and Management Partners, the Pub Development Coach plays a crucial role in driving operational success and maintaining our commitment to hospitality.
Accountabilities
Training Development:
Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of each pub, focusing on enhancing guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Collaboration:
Partner with Operations Managers and Management Partners to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.
Delivery:
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to ensure consistent and high-quality service across all pubs.
Support:
Provide ongoing support and coaching to our MP's & their pub teams, helping them to continuously improve their skills and performance.
Evaluation:
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, operations and business controls, making adjustments/suggestions as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Key Relationships - Technical Competencies / Professional expertise
Operations Managers: Collaborate closely with Operations Managers to identify training needs, develop strategies, and ensure the effective implementation of training programs.
Management Partners: Work in partnership with Management Partners to support pub teams, providing guidance and coaching to enhance operational performance and guest satisfaction.
Food Business Managers & Training Support Chefs: Engage with Food Business Managers and training support chefs to integrate food service excellence into training programs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to guest satisfaction.
L&D Team: Partner with the Learning & Development Team to leverage best practices and resources, ensuring effective and innovative training solutions that tie in with 'THIRST'
