The Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Numan’s internal IT systems, assisting employees with technical support, and ensuring seamless IT operations across the company.
You’ll be:
* Maintaining, managing, and optimizing internal IT systems, including OneLogin (SSO), Kandji (MDM), and Jira (Service Desk and Project Management).
* Developing and implementing new IT processes to enhance efficiency and security.
* Assisting departments in delivering IT-related projects with quality and collaboration.
* Managing user access control and permissions while ensuring compliance with security policies.
* Providing technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Supporting automation and streamlining of IT workflows and service delivery.
* Ensuring timely software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
* Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential IT issues.
* Documenting IT processes and creating internal knowledge bases.
* Collaborating with vendors and third-party service providers to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure.
We’re looking for someone who has:
* Experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues independently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
* Basic understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud-based technologies.
* Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira Service Desk), identity and access management solutions (e.g., OneLogin), and MDM solutions (e.g., Kandji) is preferred.
It’s a bonus if you have:
* Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
* Familiarity with macOS and Windows device management.
* IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, or related).
