We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to come and join our expanding team, with skills in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Virtualisation. Based at the client site, in Stevenage or Portsmouth, you will be reporting to the IAM Infrastructure Team Lead. You will ensure alignment of all IAM and Messaging Infrastructure technology, whilst working within a large Infrastructure team split across three client sites. We are looking for a self-motivated, communicative, and driven person who thrives in fast paced environments with constant change, delivering Infrastructure projects and working in a daily operations environment. What you will be doing: Managing any incidents, requests, changes and problems, within given SLAs. Manage the support for all in scope Client Messaging services, including on-premises Exchange 2010/2016. Maintenance and production of technical documentation to facilitate knowledge share and skills development. Execute tasks to support Maintenance and Lifecycle activities, including Patching of services. Integration and testing of new infrastructure technology (both hardware and software). Make proactive suggestions for improvements to client services and propose how this can be delivered with the benefits realised. What you will bring: Proven experience with Exchange 2010/2016 or similar. An understanding of Forefront Identity Management (FIM) and Microsoft Identity Management (MIM). Experience of Exchange CUs and patching. A good understanding of Microsoft Group Policy (GPO's). Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory at Enterprise/Multi Forest scale. A good understanding of PowerShell scripting and reporting. Knowledge of VMWare and experience working in virtualised environments. Good knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2012/2016/2019). Knowledge of Domain Controller Installations and Migrations. A good understanding of DNS. It would be great if you had: Experience with MECM (SCCM). Knowledge of Postfix/SendMail. Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS).
